About
Shawn Roy
Whether you're embarking on the journey of buying or selling, it's fundamentally about turning a dream into reality. I grasp the profound significance this decision holds for you. Ultimately, this is one of the driving forces behind my choice to become a real estate agent—to guide individuals through the process of buying or selling a home, ensuring a seamless and stress-free experience.
As a third-generation North Bay resident, I've been immersed in the local community throughout my life, cultivating an intimate familiarity with both neighborhoods and schools, from elementary to secondary. My knowledge extends beyond the immediate area to outlying regions like Callander, Astorville, Bonfield, Rutherglen, Powassan, Nipissing, and Restoule. Beyond the realm of real estate, I've dedicated my time to volunteering for various community boards, including those addressing issues like Violence Against Women, the Wrap Around Program, Alternative Measures Program for Youth, and Families First—an alcohol-free family event held at Memorial Gardens every New Year's Eve.
Additionally, I proudly served as a Fire Fighter with the Callander Fire Service for eight years before retiring in the fall of 2015.
