I am very happy with my house sale and if I ever need to buy or sell another home in Sue’s district I would definitely use her again. I would also recommend Sue to anyone looking to buy or sell a home. She made the process as painless as possible.

About

Trust & Honesty – The cornerstones that Sue has built her business on and have helped sustain loyal and lasting relationships with both clients and the broader community.

There is no ‘one size fits all’ scenario in Sue’s business. She individualizes the buying and selling experience for each of her clients. Whether her clients are first time buyers, families purchasing a waterfront cottage or retired couples looking to downsize, Sue takes the time to sit down with each person, learn about what’s important to them and then sets out to make their dream a reality!

In other words, it’s not just a financial transaction to Sue – she loves cultivating relationships with her clients, friends and family, and helping them achieve their dreams at all stages of their lives. Her greatest reward is receiving referrals from past clients, working with their children and in some cases, their grandchildren.

Sue is well known for going above and beyond to ensure her clients are completely satisfied, comfortable and secure in their choice of either a purchase or sale. Her drive and dedication to her business, and moreover her clients, has provided her with an extensive understanding of North Muskoka, its district lakes, small towns and lesser known backroads. She uses this information to inform new clients and to keep her long term clients updated.

As a leader in the real estate industry in North Muskoka, Sue is not afraid to take a chance, try something new or rework an old idea to put a fresh, new perspective on it. She takes great joy in mentoring new Agents, assisting them in finding their way through an ever changing market and industry.

Her unceasing enthusiasm, dedication and easy going nature can be traced back to her roots. Born and raised in a farming community outside of Guelph, Ontario, Sue has been steadfast in her belief of giving what you wish to receive. Raised with a strong work ethic, she doesn’t shy away from hard work, or the unknown, and is fearless in the face of adversity. Sue quickly learned that communication is vital to success. Sue makes every effort to ensure that there is an open door to share ideas, thoughts and feelings and prioritizes communication in her daily interactions.

Choosing to become a real estate agent wasn’t too far of a leap for Sue. After being in the hotel and food industry, she began working in a real estate office as a receptionist. Thoroughly enjoying this experience, Sue soon decided that she wanted to be more involved with clients, helping to guide them in what could be one of the most important, significant purchases of their lives. Sue was successful in obtaining her real estate license in 1993. Each day brings a new challenge, another chance to meet someone and learn their story – and help them find their place in North Muskoka.

Taking part in the community is also very important to Sue. In keeping with her early beliefs, she lends her support and time to many events and causes and encourages others to join in creating a stronger community.

When Sue is not working, she spends her time with her family. Much like her busy business schedule, she has a bustling personal life as well – a hockey mom, affection for cooking, live concert addict, a travel enthusiast and an animal lover keeps her hopping!

Sue’s dedication, passion, and tenacity have helped her achieve success in real estate. No deal is too small, too big or too daunting for her. In the end, it’s always about the needs of her clients (new, long term and future). Her positive, upbeat attitude and commitment to those she works with, is just the beginning of what will most likely become a long term relationship.
