Eligibility: Cross Canada Referrals' "Win Free Registration" giveaway to the RE/MAX event is open to legal residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec, who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entry into this giveaway constitutes acceptance of the official rules and regulations as outlined below. Void where prohibited by law. Employees, independent contractors, officers, and directors of Cross Canada Referrals and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and their immediate family members (spouse/domestic partner, parents, children, siblings, and their respective spouses) and those living in the same household of each (whether legally related or not) are not eligible to enter or win.

How to Enter: Follow the on-screen entry instructions to complete and thereafter submit the entry form, which requires the Entrant’s email address and agreement to the terms and conditions. No entry will be accepted from any Entrant who does not provide all the required information on the entry form.

Although participation requires online access and an e-mail account, no purchase is required to enter. Public libraries, retail businesses, and other establishments may offer free access to computers, and various Internet service providers and other companies may offer free e-mail accounts.

Prize: The winner will receive a conference pass to the Activate or R4 event, usually held respectively in Toronto, Canada and also Las Vegas, Nevada. Approximate Prize Value: $1000. The prize does not cover any other items or expenses not specifically mentioned in these Official Rules & Regulations, and all additional expenses, including travel and accommodation, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Only the listed prizes will be awarded, and no substitutions, cash equivalents, or redemptions will be made. Winners agree to accept the prize “as is”, and entrants acknowledge that Cross Canada Referrals has neither made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact, or in law, relative to the prize, except for any express warranties (if any) provided by the prize supplier that are sent along with the prize.

Selection of Winner: The winner will be required to correctly answer a skill-testing question before being awarded the prize. The random drawing will be conducted by Cross Canada Referrals, whose decisions regarding the drawing and winners are final and binding.

If the selected winner does not respond within seven (7) days of notification, they will be disqualified, and another eligible entrant may be selected by random draw as a potential prize winner until an entrant meets the terms set out herein and the prize is awarded.

General Conditions: This giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and local laws and regulations.

Limitation of Liability & Release: By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Cross Canada Referrals, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the giveaway or receipt or use of any prize.

Governing Law:This giveaway is governed by the laws of Canada, without respect to conflict of law doctrines.
